Matti Wilks

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.

My research is in moral development and moral psychology and I am interested in understanding barriers to prosocial and ethical behaviour. Right now, my research focuses on altruistic groups, effective altruism, moral expansiveness, and why we prefer natural things (particularly in the context of cultured meat).

If you would like to contact me, please do so at mwilks@ed.ac.uk or @matti_wilks on Twitter.

I am open to supervising students in 2021/2022. If you are interested please get in touch!
