Matti Wilks

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Psychology at the University of Edinburgh.

My research is in moral development and moral psychology and I am interested in understanding barriers to prosocial and ethical behaviour. Right now, my research focuses on moral circle expansion, unusually altruistic groups, attitudes towards cultured meat, and why we prefer natural things. I am also interested in effective altruism.
